Unintentional Nazi humor, huh?
Yesterday, someone started advertising a website that would catalog people suspected of White Supremacy tendencies. The service was sold as a name-and-shame platform, but the logo suggests otherwise... Screenshot as the tweet is now deleted.

one button? weird lift

Common if you’re at the top of bottom floor. Only one way to go from there!

I make this joke every time I’m in a Schindler elevator. It’s official a Dadjoke in our family now. Just eye-rolling and pleading to never say it again.

Their website is a white page that says “Be right back.”
Implied: Be right back. Firing graphic designers.

I’ve used them where you request the floor from outside, then the screen directs you to a specific elevator. At that point, you have no more control. Honestly, kind of a stupid design.

I was on the first floor. Only way to go is up!

Exactly. I was on the first floor, lol.

That looks and sounds creepy in the extreme.
I would imagine SWS alludes to swastika, too.

If only my kids were old enough to get that joke. I could very quickly annoy my wife with that one though...

I thought it looked familiar...

Wow. Did they not have ANYONE think, “Oh, hey, we’re making this whole database to catalog white supremacists who probably have Nazi symbols on something and this kinda looks like one too. Maybe that’s a bad idea and slightly counterintuitive.”

Oh, the kids don’t get it. This is all wife.

And if it was the other way round - trying to get information about people who would inform about white supremacists?
Because I cannot possibly imagine someone familiar with the subject and then design that (or approve it).

That’s clearly a puffin

Atlas Schindler is one of our customers at the company I work for.
As for that button, it seems the light is outside the circle of trust.
